APID series Adjustable Iris Diaphragm
The advantage of using adjustable iris diaphragm as spatial filter is that the size of the central hole is continuously adjustable.
It is easier to make part of the frequency component pass through the frequency plane, and block other frequency components, thus changing.

APID series adjustable diaphragms are similar in structure to the diaphragm behind the camera lens and are also made up of multiple arcs.
